Bio

Yes, he's Token. Seriously, Sterling plays the bass, air bass, that is. He's pro at it. Once again he's black, he plays the bass. He's supposed to eat fried chicken, according to a random drunk black "brutha" in NorCal, which is why he worked at KFC/Taco Bell over the summer freshman year. Living in Irvine, he gets around by foot. No fancy car but pimps it with his 20 pound backpack sharing a VDC Norte shuttle with about fifty students at 7:30 am in the morning. Life is pretty sweet. A 2nd year vocal performance major here at UCI, his job is to gather up his "pitches and whole notes" (thanks to Tyler Dean) and present them to his teachers, his friends and family, and to the whole world. His voice has achieved him success through honor choirs, community theater performances, a scholarship, a prom date and even prom king in his senior year in high school. Although he prefers blending successfully in a group, he wants to learn and eventually teach the power of voice as an individual musical entity in order to strengthen the power of many voices together (in other words, give individual voice lessons and teach a choir). When he is not singing, he enjoys chilling with friends, playing videogames, and going on adventures. He is currently working towards two minors in Education and Psychology and enjoys observing people do what they do.
